Street Scenes of Munich: - 2 comments
Earlier this month I was invited to conduct an on stage interview with Jason Kilar, chief executive officer of Huluthe DLD conference in Munich. It gave me a chance to visit the city, walk around in bitter cold and look around what is arguably one of the cleanest and quietest cities in the world.
Here are some random street scenes I captured with my Blackberry Bold. I actually wish I was a better photographer and had a decent camera, especially since my friend Matt Mullenweg continues to take such stunning photos with his fancy camera. Or perhaps I should just stop traveling to places he is visiting.

“Cleanest and quietest” captures Munich very well… whether it’s a pro or a con is open to debate, of course. But they have an awesome Science and Technology Museum, which is reason enough to go there as far as I’m concerned.
The problem of shooting photos with a mobile phone is a real dilemma for me. I rejoice in having a camera in my Nokia E71 because I can snap anything I see that I may want to blog about; this allows for the serendipity that is an important part of why I love blogging. However, the photos from this otherwise excellent device are mediocre at best. The alternative, lugging around my trusty DSLR, is too unwieldy… Frankly I’d rather they packed less megapixels into the Nokia and gave it better quality. Oh well…
