This comes from venture capitalist Ross Levinsohn’s blog post about his firm’s astute investments in India. Seems like the difference between Hindi (the language) and Hindu (people who follow Hinduism, the religion) is much harder to grok than writing that big check. Seriously!

It may just be a simple genuine typo. U/I are just next to each other. I’ve done that mistake in the past and I’m Hindi…. err Hindu!

may be they meant hindi..an, or may be we should drop the ‘h’, india speaks indi language..hehe
